My stay at Big Bear Lodge was a pleasant experience with a nostalgic charm. The owners, Louie and Hanlie, were incredibly warm and welcoming, embodying true hospitality. The rooms, although a bit small, were impressively clean and comfortable. However, I did feel somewhat uneasy with the lack of additional door locks for security and the absence of curtains. Overall, it's a great value for a unique experience.

I had a really pleasant experience at this motel, thanks to the lovely owners who have turned it into a cozy getaway. The beds were comfortable, and I appreciated the hot water. The location is great, right across from a park and beach surrounded by flowers. However, one downside was the lack of safety features on the door, which made me a bit uneasy during my stay.
